The Pottery Barn opened in June 2002 when Kate and Debbie renovated one of the barns on Westfield farm, approximately 8 miles north of Aberdeen just past the village of Foveran.
Since then many thousands of items of pottery have been lovingly created and now reside, not just in surrounding areas, or even the whole of the UK, but also in many places around the world as gifts or memories of a visit to Aberdeenshire.
The Pottery Barn is situated on a working farm so the sights, smells and noises are all thrown in for free during your visit.
On arrival you choose a piece of white unpainted (bisque) pottery, select five colours, then sit down and paint! We supply the rest - brushes, water, paper towels, a hugh variety of different stencils, lots of different painted examples, and help from Kate if you are still needing it.
Once finished we will fire and glaze the piece and it will be available for pickup one week later.
